Le Petit Village sits where Seventh Avenue South meets Perry Street, behind a wall of ivy and a hand-painted sign. Inside: bare brick, gilded frames, brass pendants and a marble bar. Outside: a terrace that runs the length of the corner and fills the moment the weather turns.
It was built to be a neighbourhood restaurant first — the kind you end up at twice in a week without planning to. Bread arrives without asking. The wine list starts at a fair price and climbs as far as you would like it to.

The Kitchen
Chef Mehjabin Ahmed.
Classic French with a rustic Provençal turn — escargots and steak au poivre alongside a ratatouille that earns its place on the large plates.
The menu changes with what is good. The escargots do not.

The Bar
Jeremy Le Blanche.
A list that runs from a properly filthy vesper to a zero-proof spritz, by way of espresso, mezcal and Fernet.
